What to expect on a typical day with Boat Fishing Tours Namibia

Arrival Time

• Arrival is typically at 08:00, but the exact time will be confirmed in advance by your skipper.
• We usually depart from Swakopmund Mole, at the parking lot behind Strand Hotel.

• Warm jacket or windbreaker
• A good sense of adventure!

🎣 Fishing Experience

• No prior fishing experience is necessary.
• Before departure, the skipper will explain the day’s route and distance.
• A short demonstration of the equipment and fishing methods will be provided onboard.

🚻 Onboard Facilities

• We have a portable toilet available on board, especially convenient for the ladies.

🥪 Snacks & Drinks

• A cooler box with Coca-Cola, water, and beer is provided.
• You’ll also receive a homemade snack pack.
• Have dietary restrictions or drink preferences? Let us know in advance — we’re happy to accommodate!

• All edible fish will be cleaned and packaged for you to take home.
• Want to enjoy your fresh catch in town? We’re happy to recommend local restaurants that will cook your fish for you!

Preparing for a charter requires significant planning, including bait, fuel, staffing, and meals. To ensure fairness, our cancellation policy is as follows:

Client Cancellations:

• Cancellations made 3 days or less before the trip will incur a 100% cancellation fee.

Weather Cancellations:

• If the skipper determines that weather conditions are unsafe, the trip may be rescheduled or fully refunded.
• Safety is our top priority.
